We’re looking for either an Intermediate or Senior Solution Developer to join our growing Team. The candidates we’re looking for should be hungry for knowledge and growth. The principle purpose of this position is to technically specify, design, create, and maintain innovative and efficient solutions that cater for the specific needs of customers utilising the D365 Business Central platform. The Senior Solution Developer aims to optimise business processes, enhance user experience, and ensure seamless integration with other systems while adhering to industry best practises and Microsoft guidelines. Mentors more junior Solution Developers and is responsible for client satisfaction.

Minimum Criteria:

• Extensive knowledge of development – preferably a BSC, B.IT or related degree or diploma
• More than 5 years development experience with a focus on development for D365 Business Central
• ERP development experience

Knowledge:

• Familiar and experienced in:
– Experienced in Microsoft .NET technology, Microsoft Visual Studio development environment
– Experienced in the AL programming language
– Experienced in the use of Azure DevOps/GitHub, Git, Visual Studio Code, PowerShell and Docker
– Familiar with related Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server
– Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server, Reporting Services and Analysis Services, 3-tier architectures, Web servers, Web services etc.
– Familiar with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), firewalls, etc.
– Familiar with D365 Business Central functionality
– Familiar with collaboration capabilities between D365 Business Central, Microsoft Office, Dataverse and Power Platform
– Experienced with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint skills
– Familiar with Implementation Methodologies
– Application technology stack
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
• A solid knowledge of the ERP implementation process and associated methodologies
• Understanding of business processes in Retail, Manufacturing or Services
• Knowledge of operating system/s
• Understanding of hardware sizing and architecture
• Understanding of the support tools (e.g. CRM, RDP, Any Desk)
