Volpes, a linen manufacturer and 30-store-strong-retailer in the Coricraft Group, entrusted Just Dynamics to bring needed consolidation of disparate systems the business was using.

The company was running the 2009 version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV for the finance and manufacturing functions at head office and Microsoft’s Retail Management System (RMS) for the retail operation. With both systems due for update, the company sought to select a single, integrated solution that more accurately supported the business’ existing needs and growth requirements.

The aggressive timeline of four months for implementation meant that Just Dynamics and Volpes had to pull out all the stops to successfully deliver the project in time. The project was delivered on-time and on-budget, with the on-time delivery giving Volpes a significant financial saving in license fees.

The upgraded solution of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and LS Retail, delivered on the business’ goals to improve stock management, Point of Sale (POS) usability and gift voucher management while bringing modernisation to the now-centralised ERP platform across the business.

In store operations were a noticeable win with the simple to understand POS design resulting in saved training costs and the reduction in day end procedures from 2 hours per store down to 30 minutes.

With the centralised solution on LS NAV, the business gained a central view of its operations enabling agile decision making and improved efficiency.
